Agreement
By accessing or using the Youth Welfare Society website, submitting a form, volunteering, registering interest in a program or event, or making a donation, you agree to comply with these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use this website or make a donation through it.
Youth Welfare Society is a registered society in Rohtak, Haryana (Regn. 01688, UIN 2001168495), under the Haryana Registration and Regulation of Societies Act, 2012 (Haryana Act No. 1 of 2012). These terms apply to all visitors, donors, volunteers, event participants, and other users of this website. Youth Welfare Society is a registered society. It is not a trust.
1. Use of website
The website content is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute legal, tax, financial, or professional advice. Unauthorised use, modification, scraping, or duplication of website content is prohibited.
You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not harm the society, its beneficiaries, staff, office-bearers, volunteers, or other users. You must not:
- Provide false, incomplete, or misleading information.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, servers, or related systems.
- Interfere with the security, availability, or operation of the website or payment processes.
- Use the website to transmit harmful code, spam, or unlawful content.
2. Eligibility
By using this website or making a donation, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, or that you are acting through a parent, guardian, or authorised representative with legal capacity to enter into a binding arrangement under Indian law.
3. Donations
All donations are voluntary and are made at your own discretion.
Donations are used solely to support the society’s objects, including youth welfare, education, skills and livelihood, health, sports and leadership, community outreach, digital access, and wildlife and environment protection across Haryana.
Donations are non-refundable except as outlined in the Refund & Cancellation Policy. The society does not guarantee a particular program allocation unless expressly agreed in writing for a designated campaign. Current bank, IFSC, and UPI details are issued by the registered office — do not transfer to an unofficial account.
4. Donor obligations
Donors are responsible for providing complete, valid, and accurate personal and payment information. This is required to process donations, maintain statutory records, and issue receipts in the society’s name.
Where a receipt or tax certificate is requested, donors should provide:
- Full legal name as it appears on official records
- Valid Permanent Account Number (PAN), if a tax certificate is needed
- Current postal address, email address, and phone number
- Donation amount, date, and transaction / payment reference
- Any other details reasonably required under applicable law
The society may withhold, delay, or decline a tax-exemption certificate if PAN or other statutory details are missing, invalid, mismatched, or unverifiable, or if the society is not in a position to issue that certificate for the gift in question. The society is not responsible if a tax deduction is delayed, reduced, or rejected by tax authorities because of inaccurate, incomplete, or late information supplied by the donor.
Donors must ensure that funds used for donations are from legitimate sources and that the donation does not violate any anti-money-laundering, tax, or other applicable law.
5. Tax exemption
Youth Welfare Society issues donation acknowledgements after funds are successfully received and matched. Any income-tax exemption — including under Sections 12A or 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961, if applicable — depends on the society’s registrations in force in the year of your gift, the donor’s eligibility, and the completeness of information provided. Ask the registered office for the latest certificates before you file a return.
The society does not provide tax advice. Donors should consult their own tax advisor regarding deductibility.
6. Third-party payment gateways
Donations and other payments may be processed through banks, UPI providers, and third-party payment gateways. Those services are operated by independent third parties and are subject to their own terms, privacy policies, and security practices.
The society is not liable for banking delays, failed or pending transactions, double debits, declined payments, gateway downtime, settlement delays, or security incidents occurring on third-party platforms or banking networks. Any dispute relating to a payment-gateway or bank processing error should first be raised with the relevant bank or gateway, and may also be notified to the society with the transaction ID for assistance under the Refund Policy.
The society does not store complete card details on this website. Payment credentials entered on a gateway are handled by that gateway. Currency conversion, bank charges, or gateway fees, if any, are governed by the donor’s bank or the payment provider and may not be refundable.
7. Foreign contributions
The society accepts donations in Indian Rupees as permitted under applicable Indian law. Foreign contributions, if any, will be accepted only in accordance with the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 2010 and other applicable regulations. The society may decline or return a contribution that cannot be lawfully accepted. Write to the office before sending an international wire.
8. Intellectual property
All content, logos, images, videos, program materials, and other materials on this website are the property of Youth Welfare Society unless otherwise stated. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, or commercially exploit any content without prior written permission from the society, except for fair personal, non-commercial use permitted by law.
9. Privacy
Personal data collected through this website is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. By using the website, you consent to that collection and use, including sharing with payment processors, banks, and authorities where required for receipts, accounting, or statutory compliance.
10. Events, programs, and volunteering
Registration for events, programs, or volunteering does not create employment or any other legal relationship beyond what is expressly agreed. The society may postpone, reschedule, or cancel events or programs as described in the Refund & Cancellation Policy. Volunteers and participants must follow safety instructions and applicable law while taking part in society activities. Volunteers are not left alone with a child until orientation and safeguarding briefing are complete.
11. Third-party links and embedded content
This website may contain links, maps, videos, or other embedded content from third-party websites. The society does not control those websites and is not responsible for their content, availability, or privacy practices. Accessing them is at your own risk.

15. Force majeure
The society shall not be liable for delay or failure to perform any obligation where that delay or failure results from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, epidemics, government restrictions, strikes, power or internet failures, or payment-system outages.
16. Modifications
Youth Welfare Society reserves the right to modify, update, or replace these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. The revised terms will be effective immediately upon publication on this website. Continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. You are responsible for reviewing this page periodically.
17. Termination of access
The society may suspend or restrict access to the website, refuse a donation, or decline to issue a receipt or certificate where it reasonably believes these terms, applicable law, or the society’s policies have been breached.
18. Governing law and jurisdiction
